The client requested a weekend house located on a large tract of land near Augusta, Missouri. The house is located on the edge of wooded area on a south facing hillside with views of an eight-acre man-made pond. Approached from a wooded path, the house is entered on the upper level that contains all the public spaces. Guest bedrooms are located on the lower level, and the Master Suite is in a free-standing structure reached by bridge from the main level.
