William Shearburn Gallery II

A new location and our second project for this client was created on the ground floor of a building that faces the west side of Forest Park. The location, a former restaurant, includes gallery spaces, a conference area and library, two private offices and a back-of-house art storage area.

The existing concrete floor slab was ground and polished, and where possible, the underside of the second floor’s concrete slab was used as the finished ceiling, revealing the original form marks. Other finishes include plywood backed gypsum board walls with a 5/8-inch continuous reveal top and bottom.
